Children Festival & Family Day in Devon on August 16
The Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) invites the people of the Bangladeshi community to spend the Saturday, August 16 out in Devon. We will host a children's festival for the whole family, with sportive activities and artistic competitions, games, ethnic food and lots of fun. |
Members of the community are invited to the festival.
We will have a program guiding through day, and will reward prizes and certificates to the participating children of various competitions. Further to that we will award certificates for the participants in the Mahinur Jahid Memorial Foundation Cricket Tournament, that was was held on June 14 earlier this year.
The event will be held at Centennial Park in Devon, which is located on Athabasca Avenue across the John Maland High School. The park has a beautiful setting for recreational activities, and has a children's playground with water fountain, a gazebo, picnic tables and lots of green areas.
