A Memorandum was submitted to The High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Ottawa, Canada, Mr. Kamrul Ahsan by an eminent journalist and human rights activist Delwar Jahid to easier and quicker the process of getting MRP in Canada.
Delwar Jahid, is the President of Bangladesh Heritage and Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA), Bangladesh PressClub Centre of Alberta (BPCA) and the Editor of Samajkantha.
Delwar Jahid urged to immediate repeal of the provision of personal presence in Ottawa to finger print, signature print and for the digital photo and request outsourcing the work in each of the province of Canada.
The High Commissioner Kamrul Ahsan assured to write the government about the concern to resolve the problem in a meeting with Delwar Jahid, Councilor Rahat Zaman also joined with The High Commissioner.
The Bangladesh High Commissioner was requested to take immediate steps to resolve the problem of the machine-readable passport process.
Mr. Jahid also met Bangladesh High Commission officials, they are Councilor Nahida Rahman Sumona, Ishrat Ahmed, Rahat Zaman and First Secretary (Counselor and DDO) Maksud Khan and Second Secretary Arpana Rani Paul.
