Edmonton, Alberta (June 14, 2014): The Bangladesh Press Club Centre of Alberta (BPCA) and Bangladesh Heritage & Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) had a hard competition of cricket games in Edmonton. BHESA won the match defeating BPCA by 1 run.
Eminent journalist and Chief Advisor of The Mahinur Jahid Memorial Foundation (MJMF) Delwar Jahid inaugurated the tournament while the Member of the Parliament of Alberta (MLA) Matt Jeneroux was present as Chief Guest.
The score was BHESA 104 in 19 overs and BPCA 103 in 20 overs. At the St. Joseph High School Field, BHESA defeated BPCA by 1 run.

The Press Club team of Bangladesh consisted by Tanvir Hasan, Saifuddin Khaled, Kausar Khanduker, Sanjiba Chowdhury, Masud Bhuiyan, Syfur Hasan, Mirza Basirul Alam, Adnan Kamal, Abdul Haque Shamim, Raihan Jamil and Khdemul Islam and in BHESA team - Ahsan Ullah, Halim Shah, Haroon Sharif, Ghulam Sarwar, Muhammad Anisul Haque, Khairul Robin, Muhammad B. Huda, abararul Mannan, Khairul Robin, Abdul Bari, Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman and Sam Islam.
Man of the Match in overall consideration was awarded to Ahsan Ullah team leader of BHESA.
Shahid Hasan prominent organizer was the referee in first season of the game in the second season Nobi Muhammad. Muhammad Abdul Mannan and many expatriate families and teenage children attended.
Mahinur Jahid Memorial Foundation on the occasion of the tournament launched a Web site (www.mjmf.org) and inaugurated Unity a magazine that published in a colorful manner.
