Miles is around and musically active since 1979, coming from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Today the group consists of 5 members, Hamin Ahmed (vocal and guitar), Shafin Ahmed (vocal and bass), Manam Ahmed (keyboards and vocal), Syed Ziaur Rahman Turjo (drums and percussion) and Iqbal Asif Jewel (guitar and vocal). Having recorded multiple albums, the band wrote a number of notable songs. Their music is described as a pop rock act with influences coming from Blues, Latin, Jazz and Techno music.

Other prices followed, like the First Class First of Chhayanat Rabindra Shangeet Shommelon in 2008, and 2nd runner up of the musical competition 'Channel I SheraKontho' in 2009. With a collaboration release in 2013, and her first solo album in 2015 she is now establishing herself as a regular stage performer and playback singer.
