Samajkantha Repot
Senior journalist of Bangladesh Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury died after he was badly injured while getting down from a passenger bus at Karwan Bazar of Dhaka Saturday evening.
President, Bangladesh PressClub of Alberta Delwar Jahid expressed deep shock at the tragic death of Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury who was a former managing director and chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. 
According to different news channels referring to witnesses, the veteran journalist was travelling by a passenger bus to go to the private TV channel’s office. As the bus slowed down near the police box at the Saarc Fountain intersection, he attempted to get down but “But the bus sped up this time and he (Chowdhury) fell on the road (Daily Star).
Body of Chowdhury, has been kept at the Mortuary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
